Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle in accordance with legal and company regulations.
- Deliver goods to designated locations while ensuring their integrity and timely distribution.
- Collaborate with the transport team to plan routes efficiently, taking into account traffic and road conditions.
- Perform pre and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any defects or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, including delivery schedules, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Uphold a professional and customer-focused approach, providing excellent service at all times.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring personal and public safety during deliveries.

Qualifications:
- Full, valid UK driving license with Category C1 entitlement (7.5 tonnes).
- Excellent driving skills, with a proven track record of safety and reliability.
- Demonstrated knowledge of legal requirements and industry regulations, including tachograph use.
- Previous experience in a similar driving role is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to handle changing schedules or unexpected situations.
- Good geographical knowledge of Batley and surrounding areas is advantageous.
- A positive attitude, dedication, and a strong work ethic.
