Compliance Statement

Workchain Ltd are aware of our obligations to the working population at large to ensure that any form of slavery is eradicated. Everyone within our organisation and our trading partners has a responsibility to ensure that human rights are protected to ensure that any abuse in the form of slavery is acted upon and reported accordingly.

We are a supplier of flexible labour resources operating across 3 divisions: Driving, Industrial & Office with multiple locations across the UK. In an effort to control the suitability of the labour that we provide to our clients, but also to ensure legislative compliance in terms of modern slavery & human trafficking (amongst other issues), we do not recruit any labour for our clients other than through our own direct advertising media. As such we have no supply chain – we recruit all workers directly. We do not knowingly engage in any relationships with third party suppliers of labour in to our business.

We are committed to ensuring that no modern slavery or human trafficking exists in any part of our business. We do not have international recruiting offices. We are not involved in housing workers and we do not make any unlawful deductions from our workers’ pay.

We have in place systems to encourage reporting of any concerns and protection of whistleblowers.

We provide training to our staff to ensure a good understanding of the causes of modern slavery and human trafficking. We also provide training to ensure our staff has a better working knowledge of spotting the signs of modern slavery & human trafficking. All management have been briefed on the subject and promote the values.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our group’s slavery and human trafficking statement.
