Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle to transport goods and materials within and around Chesterfield
- Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries
- Conduct pre-and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its roadworthiness
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations, taking proper precautions to protect the cargo and maintain a clean driving record
- Provide exceptional customer service when delivering goods, maintaining professionalism at all times
- Complete all necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately and on time

Requirements:
- Hold a valid UK driving license with category C1 entitlement
- Possess a valid CPC card and digital tachograph card
- Proven experience in driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle in a professional setting
- Excellent knowledge of Chesterfield's roads and surrounding areas
- Ability to manage time efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries without compromising safety
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients
- Physically fit, as some heavy lifting may be required
