**Position Overview:**
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to work on a temporary basis for our client in Leicester. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in the driving industry.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Safely and efficiently transport goods using a 7.5 tonne vehicle, adhering to all relevant driving regulations and company policies.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes, manifests, and relevant documentation, is completed accurately and promptly.
- Carry out pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any defects or issues accordingly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and friendly attitude during all interactions.
- Collaborate closely with the warehouse team to ensure timely loading and unloading of goods.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including the proper handling and securing of loads.
- Assist with any additional duties as required by the client or supervisor.

**Qualifications and Skills:**
- Full and valid UK driving license with category C1 entitlement.
- Proven experience as a 7.5 Tonne Driver, familiar with all aspects of driving a larger commercial vehicle.
- A valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) card.
- Excellent knowledge of UK road regulations and best practices.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication abilities and a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit, as lifting and manual handling may be required.

**Pay Rate:**
The pay rate for this temporary position is £12.00 per hour.
