Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle within the Leicester area, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and regulations.
2. Conduct vehicle inspections before and after each shift to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance issues or damage as required.
3. Complete delivery and collection tasks, following specified routes and schedules while maintaining accurate records of all activities.
4. Provide excellent customer service by assisting with loading and unloading goods, ensuring their safe handling and efficient transportation.
5. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, promptly reporting any issues to supervisors or management.
6. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including set delivery timeframes, health and safety guidelines, and driver protocols.

Qualifications:

1. Valid UK driving license with category C1 entitlement to drive 7.5 tonne vehicles.
2. Up-to-date Driver CPC qualification and Digi-Tachograph card.
3. Proven experience as a 7.5 Tonne Driver, demonstrating excellent driving skills and knowledge of local road networks.
4. Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a polite and professional approach.
6. A comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations, including manual handling techniques and safe working practices.
