Position: 7.5 Tonne Driver (Temporary)

Company: Workchain, a UK-based recruitment agency specializing in the driving industry, is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our client's team in Lincoln. As a temporary position, this role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible and temporary employment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle to transport goods to designated locations within Lincoln and surrounding areas.
- Perform routine vehicle checks prior to each shift to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper securing and distribution of the load to maintain safety standards.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes and logbooks, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring professionalism and positive interactions with clients and colleagues.
- Adhere to all relevant industry regulations, traffic laws, and company policies throughout each shift.
- Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle, reporting any faults or issues to the relevant department promptly.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must possess a valid UK driving license with category C1 entitlement, allowing operation of 7.5-tonne vehicles.
- A valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) card.
- Proven experience as a 7.5 Tonne Driver, with a strong understanding of relevant driving regulations and laws.
- Excellent knowledge of Lincoln and surrounding areas, enabling efficient route planning and navigation.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and strong attention to detail.
- Must be physically fit and able to handle manual lifting and carrying of goods.
- Flexibility regarding working hours, as some shifts may include early mornings, evenings, or occasional weekends.

Pay Rate: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour.
