Key Responsibilities:
1. Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5 Tonne vehicle within Sheffield and surrounding areas, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
2. Ensure the timely delivery and collection of goods, maintaining a high level of customer service at all times.
3. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness, reporting any faults or issues immediately.
4. Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secure and protected during transit.
5. Plan routes effectively to optimize time, fuel efficiency, and overall productivity.
6. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, including delivery notes, time sheets, and any other required documents.
7. Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle, performing basic maintenance and reporting any mechanical issues to management.
8. Comply with company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
9. Demonstrate professionalism and excellent communication skills when interacting with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid UK driving license with Category C1 entitlement, allowing you to operate 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
2. Minimum of 2 years' experience as a professional driver, preferably within a delivery or logistics environment.
3. Full understanding of relevant driving laws, regulations, and vehicle safety procedures.
4. Excellent knowledge of Sheffield and surrounding areas, demonstrating the ability to plan efficient routes effectively.
5. Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate completion of paperwork and delivery notes.
6. Physical fitness to perform regular loading and unloading activities.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this role ranges from £12.00 to £13.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
