Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring the timely delivery of goods to designated locations within Sheffield and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring their safe transport whilst adhering to relevant health and safety regulations.
- Plan the most efficient routes and effectively utilize navigation tools to avoid delays or obstacles.
- Safely handle and secure items to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues or discrepancies encountered.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks, reporting any maintenance or repair requirements promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service, representing both Workchain and our client in a professional manner.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization of the vehicle, contributing to a positive and professional image.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid UK driving license with Category C1 entitlement and a maximum of 6 penalty points.
- Previous experience as a 7.5 Tonne Driver is preferred, although candidates with relevant driving experience and a strong work ethic will be considered.
- Working knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
- Outstanding navigational skills and the ability to efficiently plan routes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in recording deliveries and reporting issues.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Physically fit and capable of safely lifting and maneuvering heavy items.
