Responsibilities:

- Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle to deliver goods to various destinations within the designated route.
- Ensure the accurate loading and unloading of goods, adhering to specific delivery instructions and deadlines.
- Conduct thorough vehicle checks before and after each journey, reporting any defects or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service, building professional relationships with clients and offering assistance when needed.
- Comply with all road traffic regulations, company policies, and health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including delivery notes, customer signatures, and any relevant paperwork.

Qualifications:

- Valid Category 7.5T Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Previous experience as a 7.5T driver, with a sound understanding of driver regulations and best practices.
- A professional and courteous demeanor, ensuring a positive interaction with clients and colleagues alike.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow delivery instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of local routes and road network would be advantageous.
- Reliable, punctual, and physically fit to carry out manual handling tasks as required.
