Van Drivers & Drivers Mates – Ongoing Work

We are currently recruiting Van Drivers and Drivers Mates for an ongoing home delivery role based in Upper Heyford.

This is a physically demanding role involving the delivery of large household items such as sofas, TVs, and garden furniture directly to customers’ homes. You will be working as part of a two-person team, ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.

Pay Rates:

• Van Drivers – £13.50 per hour

• Drivers Mates – £12.50 per hour

Job Details:

• Ongoing, full-time work

• Monday to Friday

• Occasional weekend shifts available

• 10–12 hour shifts per day

• London deliveries included – must be confident in busy areas

• Home delivery of heavy goods

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering large household items to residential addresses

• Heavy lifting and manual handling

• Providing excellent customer service

• Working as part of a driver/mate team

• Following all health & safety procedures

Requirements:

• Drivers must hold a valid UK driving licence

• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting

• Reliable and punctual

• Good communication skills

• Previous multi-drop or home delivery experience is beneficial but not essential
