Multi-drop Van Driver in Fenton (Permanent)

Pay Rate: £500.00 - £550.00 per week depending on hours

We're currently recruiting for multiple Multi-drop Van Drivers for our client based in Fenton, ST4. This would be going straight onto a temp to perm contract where you would go permanent after 6 weeks of employment. You would be working for a 24 hour APC courier service.

Normal working week is Monday to Friday, 07:00am starts - 18:00pm finishes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently delivering a range of parcels to multiple locations on a daily basis (40 - 80 drops per day).
- Conducting pre and post operation vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with regulations.
- Planning and organising routes to optimise delivery efficiency.
- Interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner, providing a high level of service.
- Ensuring timely and accurate completion of paperwork and delivery notes.
- Adhering to company policy and legal requirements, especially in relation to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- A valid UK driving license (Category B) with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Previous experience in a multi-drop van driving role is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of the local area.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills and professional customer service approach.
- Physically fit and capable of handling semi-heavy loads, as some manual handling may be required.
