Are you an experienced Class 1 Driver seeking a temporary position in the Chesterfield area? Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently seeking qualified and dedicated individuals to fill temporary Class 1 Driver roles for our esteemed client.

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a Class 1 vehicle in accordance with relevant legislation and company policies
- Complete all deliveries and collections in a timely manner while adhering to route schedules
- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all deliveries and collections
- Conduct pre- and post-vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects or issues promptly
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
- Maintain a professional and respectful attitude towards customers and clients
- Collaborate effectively with the transport team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation

Qualifications Required:
- Valid Class 1 (CE) license
- Full CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph card
- Knowledge of current driving legislation and transport regulations
- A minimum of 1 year's experience driving Class 1 vehicles
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Good time-management skills with the ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and a responsible attitude towards vehicle safety
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours if required
