Title: Class 1 Driver (Temporary)

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Class 1 Driver to join our client's team in Newark. Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a Class 1 vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations at all times.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after each journey to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Responsibly load, transport, and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing techniques.
- Deliver goods promptly and efficiently, maintaining communication with the client and providing exceptional customer service.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate with the transport team to facilitate effective logistics and resolve any issues that may arise during transportation.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring the vehicle is maintained in good condition.

Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Possess a valid CPC and Tacho Card, demonstrating compliance with driving regulations.
- Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Good knowledge of UK road networks and routes, ensuring efficient journey planning.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Physical ability to load and unload goods as required.

Pay Rate: £750.00 - £850.00 per week.
