Job Title: Class 2 Plant Hire Delivery Driver (Permanent)

Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Class 2 Plant Hire Delivery Driver for our esteemed client. Responsibilities:
1. Safely and efficiently transport plant hire equipment to various locations within Sheffield and surrounding areas.
2. Conduct pre and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring any defects are reported immediately.
3. Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery tickets, timesheets, and mileage logs.
4. Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
5. Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures to guarantee a safe working environment.
6. Assist with loading and unloading the plant hire equipment, adhering to all manual handling and lifting guidelines.
7. Regularly communicate with the transport team and plant hire department regarding any delays, issues, or changes to the delivery schedule.

Qualifications:
1. Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence, with no more than 6 penalty points, and a digital tachograph card.
2. Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, preferably within the plant hire or construction industry.
3. Strong knowledge of Sheffield and surrounding areas, with the ability to navigate using maps or GPS.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ensuring effective interaction with customers and colleagues.
5. Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
6. Highly reliable and punctual, demonstrating a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering exceptional service.
7. A positive and professional attitude towards work, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Remuneration:
The salary for this role ranges from £16.00 to £17.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
