Job Title: Customer Service Agent - TEMP TO PERM CONTRACT
Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently seeking a Temporary Customer Service Agent for one of our esteemed clients in the vibrant city of Birmingham. - Handling incoming customer inquiries and providing accurate, timely responses via phone, email, or chat.
- Resolving customer complaints and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Processing orders, tracking shipments, and managing customer accounts.
- Collaborating with internal teams to address customer concerns and find effective solutions.
- Updating customer records and maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Assisting with general administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse professionally and empathetically with customers.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging situations with composure.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate record-keeping and documentation.
- Proficiency in using customer service software, databases, and Microsoft Office suites.
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Rate: £10.42 per hour
