Forklift Driver Counterbalance
FLT counterbalance driver to start immediately for a reputable company in Burton. This particular company have been operating for over 130 years and are the UK's largest stockholder of steel sections delivering products nationwide. This is an on-going position with the potential for the right candidate to be offered a permanent contract with the company.

The role
The successful applicant will be responsible for the loading and unloading of the HGV's in the yard. The client deals with the manufacturing and distribution of steel stock around the country. Due to this, you will also have to have a good understanding of Health and Safety surrounding the FLT and manoeuvring.

The work will involve steel sheeting and so you must be confident and competent at working with heavy loads and the distribution of weight across the forks. There will also be general duties that will require you to help out with as and when they arise which could include stock rotation, dropping stock for picking, etc.

Requirements for this role
Experience of working within the warehouse environment
A valid FLT Counterbalance licence
Positive attitude to work
Hi-vis/ and safety boots
Being adaptable to whatever tasks are asked during the shift
Happy with physical heavy work

Hours
You will be required to work between the hours of 0700 and 1600 Monday to Friday with a 1 hour unpaid break.
