We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance & Picker Loader Yard Operative to join a busy operation based in Bugbrooke, Northamptonshire (NN7 3QH).

This is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on, yard-based work and are looking for strong weekly hours.

Location: Bugbrooke, Northamptonshire, NN7 3QH
Rate: £14.50 per hour (flat rate)
Average Weekly Hours: 55–60 hours

Working Pattern:

Week 1: Monday to Sunday with one rest day (Thursday or Friday)
Week 2: Monday to Friday

• Some weeks will involve working 7 consecutive days due to the rotation
• Weekend hours (when worked) are typically 8:00am – 2:00pm

Weekday Hours:

8:00am until finish (volume dependent)
Average finish time is around 5:30pm, however this can extend up to 7:00pm on busier days (on a rotational basis).

The Role:

• Operating Counterbalance forklift (valid, in-date licence required)

• Operating picker loader

• Moving bags of flour and grain around the yard

• Loading and unloading HGV vehicles

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the yard

• General yard and operational support

This role is mainly yard-based (outdoor work) with some indoor duties.

We are looking for reliable, flexible candidates with previous yard experience and a valid in-date Counterbalance licence.
