Workchain is delighted to be recruiting for a reputable and growing organisation seeking a skilled Gas Installation Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced installation engineer looking for stability, autonomy, and excellent earning potential.

This field-based role covers Derby and the surrounding areas, delivering high-quality installation services to both domestic and commercial clients.

The Role

As a Gas Installation Engineer, you will carry out a range of boiler and heating system installations, ensuring a professional and customer-focused service at all times.

You will work independently in the field, installing a variety of heating solutions while representing the company with the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install boilers and full heating systems across domestic and commercial properties.

• Complete combi boiler swaps, conversions, radiator changes, and full heating upgrades.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.

• Deliver outstanding customer service and provide advice where required.

• Keep accurate and compliant records of all completed work.

Experience & Skills Required

• Proven experience in a Gas Installation Engineer role.

• Strong understanding of boiler installations and heating systems.

• Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

• HTR1

• CKR1

• Relevant commercial gas qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence

? Hours & Shift Details

• Monday–Friday: 8:00am – 5:30pm

• 1 in 4 Saturdays (rota)

• Overtime available during busy periods

• £40,500 basic salary

• Up to £45,000 (overtime)
