Yard Operative

Yard operative required on a temp-to-perm contract for a well-established client located in Castle Donington. This particular company is well-known within the Midlands and has successfully operated within the area for many years. They deal with timber products and pallet logistics.

The Role

• Repairing wooden pallets with the use of a nail gun
• Assembling wooden pallets with the use of a nail gun
• Using hand tools to assemble components
• Working towards targets
• Due to the nature of the work, the majority of the role will be located outside
• Ad hoc warehouse and yard duties as and when required

Requirements

• Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Patience and flexibility
• Okay with working outside in all weather
• Safety boots & hi-vis vest

Hours of Work

• Monday to Thursday: 7 am to 5 pm
• Friday: 7 am to 3:30 pm
