Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable HGV 2 HIAB Driver for a temporary position in Chesterfield. This role is within the driving industry and offers a competitive pay rate of £15.00 per hour. Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate an HGV 2 vehicle equipped with a HIAB crane according to the company's guidelines and regulations.
- Complete timely and accurate deliveries and collections throughout the designated routes, ensuring goods are securely loaded and unloaded.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and provide friendly customer service to clients, responding to any queries or concerns in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety procedures during operation, ensuring the safety of yourself, colleagues, and the general public.
- Conduct thorough pre and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment to identify any defects or faults and report them accordingly.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, collections, and any incidents or accidents that occur during the transportation process.
- Comply with all legal requirements, including tachograph regulations and driving time regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a valid HGV 2 license with HIAB certification.
- A valid Driver CPC qualification.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working as an HGV 2 HIAB Driver.
- Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of highways and traffic regulations.
- Ability to work independently and make appropriate decisions on route planning and load securing.
