Job Description: We are currently seeking a proficient Class 1 Tramping Driver to join our esteemed client's team in Swadlincote on a temporary basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers to demonstrate their expertise in long-distance driving and advance their career in the transportation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Class 1 vehicles for tramping, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.

• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness.

• Transport goods to designated destinations across various locations within allocated timeframes.

• Handle loading and unloading of goods, ensuring secure transportation.

• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required documentation promptly.

• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.

• Adhere to health and safety protocols to ensure personal and public well-being.

• Follow company policies, procedures, and standards consistently.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 1 driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.

• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in long-distance driving and tramping.

• Must be aged 25 or over.

• Good understanding of transport regulations, road safety, and best driving practices.

• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Flexibility to adapt to varying work schedules.

• Positive attitude, reliability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
