Workchain Derby is currently seeking a proficient driver to join our esteemed client's team in Swadlincote on a temporary basis. Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Class 1 vehicles for tramping, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and regulations.

• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections to guarantee vehicle safety and roadworthiness.

• Transport goods to designated destinations within allocated timeframes, handling loading and unloading with care.

• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required documentation promptly.

• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.

• Adhere to health and safety protocols to ensure personal and public well-being.

• Follow company policies, procedures, and standards consistently.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 1 driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.

• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in long-distance driving and tramping.

• Must be aged 25 or over.

• Strong understanding of transport regulations, road safety, and best driving practices.

• Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Excellent communication skills.
