Job Title: Class 1 Day Drivers

Start Time: 6:00 AM

About the Role:

We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Class 1 Day Drivers to join our team in Central Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers who are looking for a stable, full-time position with a well-established company. You’ll be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently across local and regional routes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Class 1 HGV vehicles in a safe and professional manner.

• Perform local and regional deliveries (no long-haul).

• Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in line with company standards.

• Complete all relevant paperwork, including delivery notes and vehicle checks.

• Provide excellent customer service when delivering goods.

• Adhere to traffic regulations and company health and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 HGV (C+E) driving license.

• Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential.

• A good understanding of UK road networks and safety standards.

• Must have a reliable and punctual work ethic.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Flexibility to work early mornings (6:00 AM starts) and occasional overtime if required.
