We are currently representing our client, a well-established company in the Driving industry, who is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join their team on a temporary basis in Goole.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maneuver an HGV Class 1 vehicle to transport goods to various destinations.
- Adhere to all road and traffic regulations to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road.
- Carry out vehicle checks before and after every journey, ensuring the vehicle is in proper working condition.
- Promptly report any mechanical issues or accidents to the appropriate personnel.
- Efficiently plan routes and navigate using maps or satellite navigation systems.
- Ensure all relevant paperwork, such as delivery notes and route sheets, are completed accurately.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and excellent customer service while interacting with clients and handling deliveries.
- Work collaboratively with the transport team to achieve set targets and meet deadlines.
- Comply with company policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid HGV Class 1 license.
- CPC qualification.
- Digital tachograph card.
- Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver.
- Excellent driving skills and a safe track record.
- Strong understanding of road traffic regulations and legal requirements.
- Ability to effectively plan routes and adapt to changes in traffic or delivery schedules.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing paperwork.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
