Class 1 Night Trunker – Leighton Buzzard

We are currently recruiting an experienced Class 1 Night Trunker to join a well-established transport operation based in Leighton Buzzard. The Role

As a Class 1 Night Trunker, your responsibilities will include:

• Trunking runs to RDCs, hubs, and depots with minimal manual handling

• Safe and compliant operation of a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle

• Accurate completion of all required paperwork

• Adhering to planned schedules and maintaining professional conduct

• Ensuring full compliance with company procedures and road safety regulations

This position involves straightforward trunking only—no multi-drop.

Hours & Pay

• Start Time: 18:30

• Shift Duration: Around 10 hours

• Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

• Rate of Pay: £18.50 per hour

• Payment Frequency: Weekly

• Long-term ongoing work available for the right candidate

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• A minimum of 2 years’ Class 1 (C+E) driving experience

• A valid UK Class 1 licence

• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card

• A good understanding of WTD and EU Drivers’ Hours regulations

• A reliable, professional, and safety-focused attitude

Location

The role is based in Leighton Buzzard, with good access from Milton Keynes, Luton, Dunstable, Aylesbury, Bedford, and surrounding areas.
