Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Transport various goods, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
- Conduct routine vehicle checks to assess mechanical condition and report any defects or issues
- Comply with tachograph and working time regulations, maintaining accurate records
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, customers, and colleagues
- Ensure the security and proper handling of goods, using appropriate manual handling techniques
- Collaborate with the operations team to manage workload and meet tight deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, carrying out basic maintenance tasks when necessary

Qualifications:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 license
- Possess a valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a HGV Class 1 driver
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- A positive and professional attitude towards work

Pay Rate: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour
