**Key Responsibilities:**
- Safely operate and drive a HGV Class 1 vehicle, following all necessary road regulations and adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Transport goods and materials securely and efficiently to various destinations, ensuring on-time deliveries.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks and inspections to ensure roadworthiness, reporting any issues or damages immediately.
- Complete accurate paperwork, including delivery notes and driver logs, ensuring all essential documentation is completed in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics team to organize loading and unloading of goods, maintaining a smooth workflow.
- Communicate effectively with customers and clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.

**Qualifications Required:**
- Possession of a valid HGV Class 1 license, with relevant CPC and Digi-tacho cards.
- Proven experience in driving HGV Class 1 vehicles is essential.
- Familiarity with UK road regulations and traffic laws, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Excellent driving skills, maintaining a clean and safe driving record.
- Strong organizational abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to handle and complete necessary paperwork accurately.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and clients.
- A conscientious and reliable individual with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality service.

**Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour - Competitive rates apply.**
