Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maneuver Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) to transport goods from one location to another within specified timeframes
- Ensure compliance with all relevant road and safety regulations, including tachograph rules and driving hours
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance or safety issues
- Communicate effectively with the transport team, providing accurate documentation and reporting any delivery or operational challenges
- Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle, regularly checking for defects, and promptly reporting to the appropriate departments
- Offer exceptional customer service, representing both Workchain and our client in a positive and professional manner
- Follow all appropriate health and safety guidelines to ensure individual and public safety at all times

Qualifications:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 driving license
- Previous experience as an HGV Class 1 driver is essential
- A valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
- Up-to-date Driver CPC training
- Good geographical knowledge of the Sheffield area and surrounding regions
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to complete necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently

Terms:
This is a temporary position offering a competitive pay rate of £14.00 - £15.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The working hours and specific duration of the assignment will be communicated upon successful application.
