Job Title: Temporary HGV Class 1 Driver (Sheffield)

Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver seeking a temporary opportunity in Sheffield? Look no further! Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently seeking skilled individuals to join our driving team.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate and drive HGV Class 1 vehicles in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Delivering goods and materials to various locations within the designated area
- Loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement
- Conducting pre/post-trip inspections on assigned vehicles to ensure roadworthiness
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and logbooks, maintaining records as required by company policies and legal obligations
- Adhere to health and safety requirements at all times

Qualifications:

- Valid HGV Class 1 license with no more than 6 penalty points (with CPC and Digi Tacho)
- Minimum of 1-year driving experience in an HGV Class 1 role
- Understanding of road traffic laws and regulations
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate excellent time management skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and nights, as required
