Job Title: Class 1 HGV Driver – Lates (finishes between 21:40 - 01:59)

Pay Rate: £22.42 per hour
Contract Type: Ongoing – Work Guaranteed Until March 2026
Payment: Weekly, every Wednesday

About the Role

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for ongoing trunking work with one of the UK’s leading logistics and distribution organisations. This role offers guaranteed work until March 2026, with various start times and days to suit your schedule.

You’ll be completing trunking runs between national distribution centres and mail processing depots — no handballing, no multidrop, just clean, straightforward driving.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and efficiently

• Conduct pre- and post-vehicle checks in line with company and DVSA standards

• Complete relevant paperwork and digital records accurately

• Adhere to all road transport and tachograph regulations

• Maintain a professional attitude and excellent timekeeping

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence

• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 driving experience

• DBS Check required prior to starting

• Driver assessment must be successfully completed before commencing work

• Strong understanding of driving hours and compliance regulations
