Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver - Temporary Contract

Salary: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently transport goods across various locations within Sheffield and surrounding areas, adhering to UK driving regulations and traffic laws
- Plan routes and schedules effectively to ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries
- Operate and maintain the vehicle in a professional manner, conducting regular safety checks and reporting any defects
- Complete all necessary paperwork related to deliveries and collections accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with warehouse staff, ensuring all loads are properly secured and loaded/unloaded correctly
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor with clients and colleagues
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, promoting a safe working environment

Qualifications Required:
- Hold a valid and current HGV Class 1 license
- Possess a valid CPC qualification
- Demonstrate a minimum of 1 year's experience as a Class 1 HGV driver
- Possess a strong understanding of UK driving regulations and traffic laws
- Excellent knowledge of Sheffield and surrounding areas
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
