Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently transport goods using an HGV Class 1 vehicle during night shifts.
- Complete pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues promptly.
- Adhere to all relevant traffic and driving regulations while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all deliveries, including mileage, fuel, and necessary paperwork.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and handle loading and unloading of goods, ensuring their secure placement within the trailer.
- Keep updated on delivery schedules, communicating any delays or changes to the appropriate parties.
- Prioritize safety at all times, implementing defensive driving techniques to minimize the risk of accidents or damage to goods.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Possession of a valid HGV Class 1 license is essential.
- A minimum of 1 year's experience as an HGV Class 1 Night Trunker is required.
- A valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of road traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with both clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate a high level of initiative.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- A flexible approach to working hours is necessary, as the job involves night shifts.

Pay Rate: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour
