Workchain is currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client in Highbridge on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to their designated locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
- Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to various locations
- Adhering to all relevant driving laws and regulations
- Completing vehicle checks and carrying out basic maintenance tasks as required
- Maintaining a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers and colleagues
Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 1 license
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Previous experience in a similar driving role
- Good geographical knowledge of the local area
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay Rate: £16-£18 per hour
