Key Responsibilities:
1. Safely and proficiently operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle, adhering to all relevant traffic regulations and guidelines.
2. Transport goods and materials to designated locations promptly and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery schedules are met.
3. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its roadworthiness, reporting any faults or mechanical issues to the relevant authorities.
4. Responsible for loading and unloading materials using various equipment, ensuring correct handling procedures are followed to prevent damages.
5. Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations, adopting a conscientious approach towards personal and public safety at all times.
6. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities transported, any discrepancies, and route details, ensuring all necessary paperwork is complete.
7. Build and sustain positive relationships with customers by delivering exceptional customer service and resolving any queries or issues effectively.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Full and valid HGV Class 2 license with no more than 6 penalty points.
- ADR certification is essential.
- Proven experience working as an HGV driver within the UK.
- Excellent knowledge of road transport regulations and driving legislations.
- Ability to handle and operate relevant equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
- A professional and proactive attitude towards your work and responsibilities.
- Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility with working hours and the ability to work weekends, if required.
