Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maneuver HGV Class 2 vehicles, adhering to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
- Delivering goods efficiently and accurately to designated locations in and around Bedford
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper securement and handling to prevent damage
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, reporting any issues or defects promptly
- Record accurate delivery information, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and customers to ensure smooth delivery workflows
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, continuously prioritizing personal and others' safety on the road

Key Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid HGV Class 2 license, CPC qualification, and relevant LGV driving experience
- A solid understanding of road traffic laws and regulations, as well as geographical knowledge of Bedford and surrounding areas
- Proven track record of safe driving practices and excellent driving skills
- Exceptional time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording and reporting delivery information
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities

Pay Rate: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour
