Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver (Permanent)

Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently seeking a skilled and professional HGV Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client based in Dudley. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle in compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies
- Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently, adhering to pre-set schedules and customer delivery deadlines
- Carry out vehicle checks before and after each journey, ensuring the vehicle is in roadworthy condition
- Load and unload goods with precision, taking care to prevent damage to the cargo
- Maintain accurate vehicle records, including mileage, hours driven, and fuel consumption
- Provide exceptional customer service, representing the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, prioritizing the safety of yourself, fellow employees, and the general public
- Collaborate effectively with the transport team, reporting any issues or concerns promptly
- Offer support and guidance to any assistant drivers or drivers' mates as required

Qualifications:
- Valid UK driving license with Category C entitlement (HGV Class 2)
- Previous experience as a HGV Class 2 Driver preferred, but newly qualified drivers are also encouraged to apply
- Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph card
- Strong knowledge of relevant traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional weekends and nights

Pay Rate: £14.00 - £14.50 per hour
