HGV Class 2 Driver required - Days - Stoke on Trent

We're currently recruiting for multiple Class 2 drivers for our client based in Fenton, ST4. You'll be delivering frozen foods as part of a 2 man team to various businesses and restaurants in the Stoke on Trent and Stafford area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle and ensure compliance with all relevant driving laws and regulations
- Carry out vehicle inspections and perform routine maintenance checks
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle, adhering to health and safety procedures
- Plan and follow optimal routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent customer service
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including maintaining a clean and presentable vehicle
- Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle defects promptly to the relevant authorities

Qualifications Required:
- Valid HGV Class 2 license and CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Proven experience as a HGV Class 2 Driver, with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of current driving laws and regulations, including tachograph regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks

Pay Rate: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour
