HGV Class 2 Driver in Stoke-on-Trent

We're currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client based in Fenton, ST4. This is a great opportunity to obtain on the road experience within the driving industry delivering for a well known client within the area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle, adhering to all relevant road traffic regulations and safety guidelines.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to designated locations, maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
- Assist in loading and unloading, ensuring the secure transportation of goods.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks, reporting any maintenance issues promptly to the appropriate authorities.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately, providing relevant details of each journey.
- Demonstrate excellent time management and route-planning skills to ensure efficient delivery schedules.
- Uphold a clean and organised working environment within the vehicle, promoting a positive image of the company at all times.

Qualifications Required:
- Valid HGV Class 2 license, with an up-to-date CPC qualification.
- A proven track record as a competent and experienced HGV driver.
- Familiarity with Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas is highly desirable.
- Good knowledge of road regulations and driving best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A commitment to maintaining high levels of health and safety.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Pay rates for this position are between £13.00 to £14.00 DOE.
