Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join our prestigious client in Goole on a permanent basis. Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle
- Transport goods in adherence to the planned route schedule
- Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of goods to customers
- Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any potential mechanical issues
- Adhere to all company and industry regulations and procedures, especially regarding health and safety
- Complete all relevant paperwork correctly and promptly, including delivery notes and logbooks
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism while interacting with customers and colleagues

Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 2 license
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience in the HGV Class 2 category
- Excellent driving record with no major convictions, such as drink driving or dangerous driving
- Valid CPC license and digital tachograph card
- Good geographical knowledge of the Goole area and surrounding regions
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
- Adaptable and able to perform well under pressure and in time-sensitive situations
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks associated with the job
- Strong attention to detail and a keen sense of responsibility for the safety of goods and people

Pay rate: £13.00 per hour
