Job Title: Class 2 Driver – Permanent Position (HIAB Training Provided)

Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 per year (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm

About the Role:
We are recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join a well-established builders merchants based in Hemel Hempstead. This is a straight permanent position offering stability, progression, and excellent earning potential.
As part of the role, you will be delivering building materials to construction sites across the region. You’ll be joining a friendly, supportive team where your development is prioritised.
HIAB Training Included:
If successful, the company will put you through your HIAB qualification free of charge, giving you valuable skills and enhancing your long-term career prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering building materials to building sites using a Class 2 vehicle
Providing excellent customer service on each delivery
Loading and unloading materials safely
Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting any defects
Adhering to all transport and safety regulations
Requirements:
Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
Good communication and customer service skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Previous experience in builders merchants is beneficial but not essential
