As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods in and around Leicester. Key responsibilities for this role include:

1. Safely and promptly operating a HGV Class 2 vehicle based on assigned routes and schedules.
2. Loading, unloading, and securing goods in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
3. Conducting daily vehicle inspections, reporting any defects promptly, and completing relevant paperwork.
4. Building strong relationships with customers and ensuring timely, professional, and courteous service.
5. Efficiently managing delivery routes to meet deadlines and maximize productivity.
6. Adhering to all relevant transportation laws and regulations, including tachograph rules and working time directives.
7. Acting as a brand ambassador whilst representing our client's company, ensuring a positive image is maintained at all times.

Qualifications required for the HGV Class 2 Driver position include:

1. Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
2. Valid Driver CPC card.
3. Digital Tachograph card.
4. Previous experience in a similar driving role, with a proven track record of safe driving practices.
5. Strong knowledge of road traffic laws and safe driving procedures.
6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
7. A professional and customer-focused approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
