Job Title: Class 2 Removals Driver

Location: Northampton, NN3
Pay Rate: £16 per hour

We are currently looking for a Class 2 Removals Driver to join our team in Northampton (NN3). This is a hands-on role where driving makes up around 20% of the job, with the majority of the work involving manual handling, loading, and unloading household or commercial items.

The successful candidate must be physically fit, reliable, and prepared to work as part of a team to ensure safe and efficient removals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly

• Loading and unloading furniture, boxes, and other items

• Manual handling of heavy goods

• Assembling and disassembling furniture where necessary

• Ensuring items are transported safely and securely

• Providing a professional and helpful service to customers

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

• Minimum 1 year’s experience driving Class 2 vehicles

• No more than 3 penalty points on licence

• Must be physically fit due to the manual nature of the work

• Previous removals or similar experience is helpful but not essential

• Good teamwork and communication skills

The successful candidate will be required to complete an interview and driving assessment before starting.
