Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of goods to designated locations
- Load and unload goods in a manner that minimizes damage and ensures secure transportation
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle's roadworthiness and report any defects or mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant paperwork

Qualifications:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 2 license, CPC card, and tachograph card
- Proven experience as an HGV driver, preferably in a similar role
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and efficiency
- Strong knowledge of Sharnford and surrounding areas, including road networks and traffic regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills, enabling the completion of necessary paperwork
- Physically fit, capable of frequently and safely lifting heavy loads
