Job Title: Temporary 7.5 Tonne Driver

Location: Burton Upon Trent 

Hours: Monday to Friday, early starts with 2 nights out a week

Duration: Temporary with potential for permanent placement

Our client, a reputable logistics company, is seeking a motivated and experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join their team on a temporary basis, with the opportunity for a permanent position.

Job Description: As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to designated locations. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle to deliver goods to customers
• Loading and unloading goods as required
• Ensuring the safe and secure transportation of goods
• Following delivery schedules and routes provided
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately and promptly
• Adhering to all relevant traffic laws and regulations

Requirements:

• Valid UK driving license with Category C1 entitlement (7.5-tonne)
• CPC qualification
• Previous experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle
• Good knowledge of road networks and routes
• Excellent driving record with no major violations
• Ability to work early starts and stay away from home for 2 nights a week
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Flexible attitude towards tasks and working hours
• Willingness to commit to potential permanent employment
