Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Location: Stafford

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm

Pay Rate: £11.50/£12.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
1. Safely and efficiently load and unload goods from delivery vehicles.
2. Ensure accurate counting and verification of received and dispatched items.
3. Organize and arrange stock in the allocated storage area.
4. Operate lifting equipment, including forklifts and pallet trucks.
5. Adhere to health and safety guidelines and promote a secure working environment.
6. Collaborate with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines.
7. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse area.
8. Efficiently complete assigned tasks and contribute to the overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in a similar role within the industrial or warehousing sector is highly desirable.
2. Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet trucks is required. (Valid license preferred)
3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling goods and data.
4. Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
5. Excellent teamwork and communication skills to effectively coordinate with colleagues.
6. Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking purposes.
7. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Pay Rate: £11.00/12.00 per hour
