Workchain is a UK-based recruitment agency currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our client's team in the industrial industry. The job is temporary and the successful candidate should be able to work with minimal supervision and be proactive in their approach. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safe and efficient handling of goods. The shift pattern will be 06:00am to 14:00pm working Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

- Picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Maintaining the warehouse in a tidy and organised manner
- Checking goods for quality and quantity
- Accurately logging inventory and updating stock records

Qualifications Required:

- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing role is desirable but not essential
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have excellent attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Must be physically fit and able to lift and move heavy products
- Must have good communication skills

Pay rate for this role is £10.42 per hour and the working hours are from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
