Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Temporary)

We are currently seeking dynamic and motivated individuals to join our client's team as Temporary Warehouse Operatives in Aldridge. Start time for this role is at 13:00 you will be doing 10 hour shifts.  The business you will be working for is a business that deals with furniture so there is an element of heavy lifting within this role. Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and accurately pick and pack orders, ensuring all items are handled with care to maintain their quality
- Safely load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, following proper handling procedures
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory, update information, and ensure accurate stock levels
- Carry out general warehouse duties, such as replenishing stock, maintaining cleanliness, and organizing goods for storage
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily targets and effectively communicate any discrepancies or issues to supervisors
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and report any potential hazards immediately
- Perform inventory checks and participate in stocktaking processes as directed by management

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or industrial environment is preferred but not essential
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to accurately follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and within deadlines
- Physically fit and capable of standing or walking for extended periods, and lifting heavy objects
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
