Transfer Station Administration & Weighbridge Operator

Location: Blackpool
Pay Rate: £12.30 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm (30-minute lunch)
Overtime available

We’re looking for a reliable and organised Transfer Station Administrator & Weighbridge Operator to join our client’s busy waste management site. This role involves a mix of administrative duties and weighbridge operations, ensuring the site runs smoothly and safely at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle general administrative tasks including answering phones, filing, and processing documentation.
Conduct compliance checks and maintain accurate records using Excel and data systems.
Cover weighbridge operations as needed.
Complete visitor inductions and ensure all site visitors wear the correct PPE.
Accurately complete all legal and operational documentation.
Support and communicate effectively with the site team.
Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
Follow all SUEZ Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a waste, recycling, or process environment is highly desirable.
Weighbridge operation experience preferred.
Strong focus on Health & Safety and site compliance.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Good IT skills, including Excel and data entry.
