Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle, adhering to all relevant road and traffic regulations.
- Deliver goods to various locations within the designated area, ensuring excellent customer service and timely delivery.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain roadworthiness and report any defects or damages.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods, ensuring accuracy and careful handling.
- Plan routes effectively to optimize time management and fuel efficiency.
- Maintain accurate paperwork, such as delivery/consignment notes, ensuring all documentation is complete and submitted on time.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, providing updates and resolving any issues that may arise during deliveries.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and secure work environment at all times.

Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 2 license.
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
- Proven experience as an HGV driver, with a clean driving record.
- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and customers.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy goods when required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as per business demands.

Pay rate: £13.00 per hour.
