Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle while adhering to all relevant legal requirements and regulations.
- Carry out pre- and post-delivery vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with company standards.
- Plan routes effectively to ensure timely and accurate loading, transportation, and delivery of goods.
- Provide exceptional customer service through friendly and professional interactions with clients and representatives.
- Take responsibility for accurate completion of delivery paperwork and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, reporting any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding health and safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Possession of a valid HGV Class 1 license is essential.
- A Digital Tachograph card and full Driver CPC qualification are required.
- Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, ideally with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
- A solid understanding of current road transport legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure to meet delivery deadlines.
